Omer Benyamin is a composer for film and television, based in Los Angeles.

He co-composed Netflix’s Twilight of the Gods with Hans Zimmer and Steven Doar, and holds songwriting credits on both Dune films — “Bagpipe Army” on the first, “Harkonnen Spa Music” on the second — in addition to additional music on both, as well as on Euphoria, Blitz, and Eden. He began his career assisting Ramin Djawadi before joining Zimmer’s Remote Control Productions in 2018, and since 2022 has been an arranger and on-stage synthesist for Hans Zimmer Live.

The son of Israeli immigrants, he grew up surrounded by music from around the world: Hebrew, Arabic, and Greek records at home, alongside classical from the baroque through the impressionists. In equal measure he came up on pop, rock, Motown, and electronic music, Daft Punk above all. Away from picture, he is at work on a concept album with Steven Doar, written and sung entirely by the two of them: not a score, but a gathering of everything they find most interesting to make.
